Can not decrypt HTTPS traffic on my iOS 14 device

I have 2 devices with iOS 12 and 14.

Both of them are configured the same way:

1. Certificate is downloaded from http://ipv4.fiddler:8866/

2. Certificate is installed from Settings > Profile Downloaded >DO_NOT_TRUST_FiddlerRoot

On the iOS 12 device all works like a charm - I can open HTTPS web sites in Safari and inspect the traffic.

But on iOS device I get a warning "This Connection is Not Private", my certificate is not trusted and I can not ignore it by pressing "visit this website"

Any advice where to dig?

Well, actually I forgot to make the last step:

Go to General > About > Certificate Trust Settings and enable full trust for the DO_NOT_TRUST_FiddlerRoot certificate

Hello Koshmariel,

Thank you for reporting this case!

I can confirm that, indeed, at this very moment, the flow described here is not working on iOS 14. I've marked the issue as a valid bug and will post any related info once the team makes a further investigation.

Thank you for confirming that the KB article steps are working on your side. On my side, I had to regenerate the certificate as I had an obsolete one. Marking your answer is the solution as the steps in the KB articles are now confirmed as working.

Hey Newfrpbypass,

You could use this article as a reference on how to use Fiddler Everywhere as a proxy for capturing your iOS traffic. Let us know if you have more specific questions related to the setup of your Fiddler Everywhere client.
