Unable to trust the root certificate. The operation was cancelled.

Hello,  when i press trust and enable https it tells me ''Unable to trust the root certificate. The operation was cancelled.'' any suggestions?

For some reason, Fiddler Everywhere is unable to fully install and trust the root certificate. TO understand what is happening we will need some additional information related to your case:


- What happens after you press Yes on the system popup window (the second screenshot)?

- Do you have administrative rights for the Windows account that is running Fiddler Everywhere? You need full admin access so that you could install and trust the root certificate. You could verify that the Fiddler root certificate is added to the OS certificate management (on Windows, go to Start and type Manage user certificates)

- Are you using some 3rd-party security tool? If so, try disa\bling it or setting up the FIddler Everywhere as an exclusion.


If none of the above helps, then you could send us the Fiddler log files (Help > Open Application Logs Folder)
