Verify that you have access to the Fiddler endpoints. If you are not using another proxy (e.g., a company-wide proxy or another custom 3rd-party proxy/proxy tool), then your OS proxy settings should show no proxy (when Fiddler is not running) - is that the case?
You could also send us the Fiddler log files (mani menu > Help > Open Application Logs Folder).
